There was a reported bug associated with WysiwygPro under
cPanel Filemanager that corrupts special characters and
several page encoding when pages are saved.
If a page contains a counter or any other link that uses special
characters is edited in the WysiwygPro editor, WysiwygPro
evaluates these characters into ASCII representations and are
never converted back before saving. This isn't a problem with
normal links to other pages containing scripts; however, to the
counter and other images generated by scripts on the fly, it is.
We would like to advise all our clients to avoid using
WysiwygPro until a bug fix is released.
